Firefighter Wayne Pimental joined the Acushnet Fire / Rescue Department in 1986.  Firefighter Pimental is certified in Hazardous Materials to the Advanced Level.  Wayne is assigned to company 2 / Station 1 and is a long time member of the department's Rescue Squad.  Firefighter Pimental's professional knowledge of automobiles makes him a very valuable asset when the department confronts difficult vehicle extrication operations.  Firefighter Pimental is active in the department's community activities and is joined on the department by his brother and niece.
