STATION 1 - HEADQUARTERS

24 Russell Street, Acushnet, MA 02743
Station 1 is staffed around the clock, 24
hours a day, 7 days per week. It is located in the
center of town just up the street from Town Hall, and next
door to the Police Station. Apparatus housed here
includes
Squad 2,
Engine 3,
Engine 4,
Engine 5, and the
Special Operations Trailer. Station 1 also houses a small
motor boat for water rescue situations.
STATION 2 - LONG PLAIN (UNSTAFFED)

1130 Main Street, Acushnet, MA 02743
Station 2 is located in the north end of
town, just south of Route 105. Due to the southerly
location of Station 1 and the lack of an adequate water
supply in the north end, Station 2 plays a vital role in
providing the town with fire protection. Because there
are very few fire hydrants in the north end, the two pieces
of fire apparatus housed in Station 2 are equipped with
large water tanks.
Engine 1 carries 1000 gallons of
water, and
Tanker 1 carries 1800 gallons of water.
Station 2 was recently renovated to
accommodate larger fire apparatus. It previously had
two apparatus bays separated by a column in between.
This column was removed and the apparatus bay was widened to
its current width, and a new, double-wide bay door was
installed.
STATION 3

60 Middle Road, Acushnet, MA 02743
Station 3 was added to the department in
2010 when the Fire and EMS Departments merged into one
entity. It is located on Middle Road and houses the
department's EMS Division. This station is staffed 24
hours a day, 7 days a week by a minimum of 1 fulltime
Paramedic, and 1 part-time EMT or Paramedic.
Rescue 1
and
Rescue 2 are housed here.
