On Wednesday, April 11, 2007 the Massachusetts Call / Volunteer Firefighters Association (MCVFA) contributed $500 to  the Acushnet Fire / Rescue Department to assist with the Truss Identification Program.  The Executive Board of the MCVFA commented on the proposed bylaw's intended purpose of improving the safety of Acushnet's firefighters.
