Firefighter Kathryn Pimental joined the Acushnet Fire & Rescue Department in 2000.  Firefighter Pimental is certified as a Firefighter Level I/II, Emergency Vehicle Operations to the Advanced Level and in Hazardous Materials to the Operations Level.  Firefighter Pimental is also an Emergency Medical Technician – Basic and a certified CPR Instructor.  Kathryn has recently attended courses in arson investigation offered by the National Fire Academy and recent completed a 48-hour training program in Fire Investigation offered by the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy.  Firefighter Pimental is assigned to Company 2 / Station 1 and is joined on the department by her father and uncle.
